Any Paramedic/SSC directly involved in the delivery of the baby from the initial steps to the delivery of the placenta will be eligible, and meet the following criteria:

  1. The SSC must give PAI instructions for delivery on the phone and the caller must follow the instructions.
  2. The Paramedics must be directly involved in the delivery of the newborn and/or the placenta.
Note: The second crew arriving on scene to take over care of the newborn would not qualify unless they were directly involved in the delivery of the newborn/placenta.
