Ontario's Paramedics Support "PTSD Bill" 67

What is Bill 67 also known as the “PTSD Bill”?

Cheri DiNovo, MPP for Parkdale-High Park, has introduced Bill 67, Workplace Safety and Insurance Amendment Act (PTSD), 2013.

This Bill would introduce 'presumptive' legislation, making it possible for first-responders (Police, Firefighters and Paramedics) to claim benefits as a result of post-traumatic stress from their jobs.

Ontario's Paramedics Welcome Expansion of Community Paramedicine Programs

Today's announcement by the Hon. Deb Matthews, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to expand community paramedicine programs is welcome news to Paramedics across the province.
